General terms and conditions of sale
Domaine de Beaucens – Hotel Accommodation
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) define the terms of booking and stay at Domaine de Beaucens for room accommodation services.
All reservations imply the client's full and complete acceptance of these conditions.
2. Reservation
Reservations can be made online, by phone or by email.
It is considered confirmed after validation by the client and communication of their bank details.
Domaine de Beaucens reserves the right to refuse any reservation in the event of a prior dispute.
3. Prices
Prices are expressed in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes (TTC), excluding tourist tax.
The tourist tax, set by current regulations, is the responsibility of the client.
The applicable rates are those in effect on the day of booking.
4. Payment terms
The payment for the stay depends on the package chosen at the time of booking:
Non-refundable offer – non-modifiable
The total amount for the stay is due at the time of booking.
This offer is firm, final and cannot be modified, cancelled or refunded for any reason whatsoever.
Flexible offer
No payment is required when booking.
A credit card imprint is required as a guarantee.
The client authorizes Domaine de Beaucens to debit the total amount of the stay from the bank card provided in accordance with the conditions defined below.
The customer certifies that they are the cardholder and have the necessary authorizations.
5. Cancellation and modification
Any request for cancellation or modification must be made in writing.
Non-refundable offer – non-modifiable
No cancellations, modifications or refunds will be granted.
Flexible offer
The customer can modify or cancel their reservation free of charge up to 8 days before the arrival date.
Starting 8 days before the arrival date:
- the total amount of the stay becomes fully due
- This amount is automatically debited from the bank card provided
In case of no-show, the entire stay will be due and charged.
For bookings made through a partner website, cancellations must be made through that website. The applicable cancellation policies are those of the partner and may differ from those of Domaine de Beaucens.
If you wish to extend your stay, you must inform reception no later than 10:00 am on the scheduled departure day, in order to check availability.
In the event of interruption of the stay before the originally scheduled departure date, the entirety of the reserved stay will remain due as compensation.
In the case of a reserved breakfast, the customer must cancel it no later than the day before by 7:00 PM. After this time, the establishment reserves the right to charge for breakfasts not consumed.
Any breakfast booked and paid for online cannot be refunded on site.
6. Arrival and departure
The reception desk is open to guests from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Early check-in between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm may be available for an additional fee of €25, subject to availability. Please contact reception in advance.
Keys and access codes are provided upon arrival at the property. For late arrivals outside of reception opening hours, a specific procedure will be explained to the guest.
Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
Any departure beyond the scheduled time may result in the charge of an additional night.
7. Use of premises
The client agrees to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and the equipment made available to them.
The occupancy capacity of the rooms must be strictly respected.
Any damage or inappropriate behavior may result in additional charges or exclusion from the establishment without refund.
Children and extra beds
Children under 2 years old stay free of charge when using existing bedding in the room.
Baby cots can be provided free of charge, upon request and subject to availability.
Some rooms can accommodate an extra bed for an additional fee, only upon request and subject to availability. The rooms concerned are specified on the hotel's website.
8. Animals
Animals are not allowed on the premises.
9. Responsibility and Personal Effects
Each room is equipped with a safe allowing the guest to secure their valuables.
Domaine de Beaucens declines all responsibility in case of loss, theft or damage to personal belongings not deposited in this safe or left unattended.
The client must inform the establishment of any damage they cause. They are responsible for all damage caused by their actions and agree to bear the costs of restoring the spaces and equipment provided.
10. Room equipment
The layout, furnishings and equipment of the rooms cannot be changed in any way.
It is forbidden to move furniture or equipment belonging to the establishment, as well as to bring in additional equipment without prior authorization.
Any item belonging to the establishment not returned after departure may be charged at the replacement rate.
11. Maintenance and repairs
Cleaning is provided daily and after each departure.
For any special requests regarding room maintenance, the client is invited to contact reception.
The customer is prohibited from carrying out repairs themselves in the establishment.
In the event of intentional or unintentional damage to the furniture, equipment or spaces of the hotel, Domaine de Beaucens may demand full reimbursement of the costs of repair.
An additional cleaning fee of €60 may be charged in the event of an abnormally high level of dirtiness requiring specific intervention.
12. Use of common areas
The customer must under no circumstances obstruct the common areas or emergency exits with personal belongings, luggage, bicycles or any other object.
13. No smoking
In accordance with current regulations, smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the establishment and rooms.
Fees for restoring and immobilizing the room may be charged if this prohibition is not respected.
14. Internal regulations and conditions of use of equipment
To ensure the comfort, safety and tranquility of all customers, internal regulations and conditions for using the establishment's equipment are made available.
These documents are available for consultation:
- on the Domaine de Beaucens website
- via the QR code located in the rooms
- by posting notices near the areas concerned, including the swimming pool and the gym
The swimming pool is accessible according to the times indicated on site and is not supervised.
The gym is freely accessible to guests of the establishment.
The use of these spaces by minors is under the full responsibility of their parents or guardians.
All bookings and stays imply acceptance of and compliance with the establishment's internal regulations.
15. Video surveillance
For security reasons, the common areas and the surroundings of the establishment are under video surveillance, in accordance with applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data.
16. Force majeure
Domaine de Beaucens cannot be held responsible for the non-performance or improper performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure.
17. Personal data
The data collected during bookings is processed in accordance with the Domaine de Beaucens privacy policy.
Payment information is processed securely by specialized providers and is not stored directly by the establishment.
18. Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.
Failing that, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the registered office of Domaine de Beaucens.
