Our commitments

A domain rooted in its territory

The Domaine de Beaucens does not exist outside of its territory – it is part of it. Our commitments are not a facade: they are the way we have chosen to bring this place to life, day after day.

Taking over an estate steeped in history means accepting a responsibility: to develop it without altering its character. For Mathilde and Benjamin, this involves three concrete commitments – to the land, to the environment, and to every person who enters the estate.

The Pyrenees are not just a backdrop for us, they are our home. We work with local producers, artisans and service providers to support the valley's economy and offer our visitors an authentic Pyrenean experience.

  • A cuisine built around local produce and producers from the Argelès-Gazost valley
  • Local vendors for weddings and events: florists, caterers, musicians
  • Activities offered with mountain partners based in the region
  • A desire to showcase the territory, not just the estate

Domaine de Beaucens is situated in an exceptional natural environment — a heritage we are committed to preserving. Our approach is built step by step, with the ambition of reducing our impact without ever sacrificing the quality of the experience.

  • Sustainable management of resources (water, energy) across the entire estate
  • Preservation of the park, natural areas and local biodiversity
  • Raising awareness among staff and visitors about proper hygiene practices
  • Choosing environmentally friendly materials and suppliers whenever possible

Behind every stay, every wedding, every seminar, there is a team that knows the estate, its inhabitants, its history. We don't process requests – we support people.

  • A team that is present and available, from the first contact to the big day
  • Tailor-made services, never standardized
  • Special attention is given to each visitor, regardless of their project
  • The conviction that hospitality is first and foremost a human matter
